Our Services

The Link provides free, walk-in mental health services for individuals of all ages. Our trained counselors offer immediate support, guidance, and resources to help you through whatever you’re facing.

Walk-In Counseling Sessions

Visitors can have a one-on-one conversation with a licensed counselor or trained mental health professional. No appointment is needed. During your session, you’ll have a safe, private space to talk about what’s on your mind. Our counselor will listen with empathy, help you cope in the moment, and work with you to figure out next steps.

Crisis Intervention

If you’re in crisis, our team will make sure you’re safe and supported. We can assist with safety planning for suicidal thoughts or help calm intense anxiety on the spot.

Resources and Referrals

The Link counselors provide you with information on next steps. We won’t just send you back out the door, we’ll link you to ongoing resources. After your session, you might receive referrals to longer-term counseling services, support group information, or other community resources (like food, housing help if that’s affecting your mental health). Our goal is to connect you with whatever help you need.

Follow-Up Support

You’re welcome to come back to The Link whenever you need a listening ear. We’re here for up to three visits, although we encourage finding a long-term care option for ongoing needs. We’ll help you with those connections.

Who Can Come to The Link?

Anyone who needs support is welcome. We see teenagers, college students, adults, and seniors. You might come in for yourself, or you might be a parent worried about a child – either is okay. If a minor comes in alone, we will still help them; however, involving a guardian is encouraged when possible for ongoing support

Confidentiality and Privacy

Your visit is private. We do not share information about you with anyone outside our team unless required for safety. You can even choose to remain anonymous (not give your full name) when you come if that helps you feel more comfortable.
